01 Aug BAR One turnstile overhaul raises the bar
Entrance Control is proud to reveal a new version of its BAR One tripod turnstile, setting a new standard for streamlined security in situations where space is limited. The revamp comes packed with features designed to provide enhanced safety, ease of use and seamless integration with modern access control technology.
One of the most notable enhancements is the option of advanced optical sensors that detect attempts to climb over or crawl under the barriers. The turnstile’s quiet Magnetic Direct Drive Motor has a reliability rating of 30 million mean cycles between failures, meaning it is built to last with minimal maintenance required and is robust enough to handle outdoor conditions.
Entrance Control General Manager Michael Bystram said the technological tweaks makes BAR One the best turnstile product on the market and an ideal option for any indoor or outdoor scenario.
“Our BAR One turnstile is more durable and reliable than ever, and the smart controls and LED guidance take the user experience to the next level.”
Ease of use is a key focus of the new design. Visitors are guided through the turnstile by LED illumination, while the go-call function ensures a comfortable passage. Smart control panels equip staff with tools to manage and control the turnstiles.
The lightweight BAR One turnstile also offers the flexibility of allowing users to choose from a range of models and a suite of surface finishes, with optional accessories to fine tune functionality and aesthetics.
Integration with most modern access control devices, including scanners, readers, and smart ticketing systems allows for compatibility with smart building management systems.
Entrance Control’s revamped turnstile is available in standard and premium versions, with the premium option boasting a next-generation control board with a more powerful processor, and advanced performance monitoring and diagnostics.
